I wanted to talk to you guys today about how to turn clients into repeat clients. How do you get them to come back and do multiple photo shoots?
You guys, this is not some kind of rocket science. You might be annoyed at how easy this is, but I promise you, it absolutely works! So there's three things to do:
- Give them an amazing experience- Make sure they love the experience, they're comfortable and they love their pictures.
- Paint the picture for their next experience- If they forget a certain outfit, you can say, “Well we can do that in your next photoshoot.” If they're talking about how they love country music, you could say, “Well we could …” If they love playing guitar, you could say, “Next time, for your next photo shoot you should bring your guitar. That would be so cool.” So again, you want to give them an amazing experience and paint the picture for a repeatable experience. A lot of people will say, “Well I don't know that I'm gonna need to do another boudoir shoot,” or “This is a once in a lifetime experience.” I respond back with, “Well, actually a lot of my clients come back and book two, three, four shoots. and they like to try different themes.” This gets them visualizing their next shoot.
- Give them a deal for their next experience- Put some kind of a coupon or call to action with their order. What I do is I have a 5 x 7 thick-style card size, and it says, “Use this to get a complimentary photo shoot and $100 towards your order.” The most important thing is on the back of the card it says, “You must book your shoot in the next three months, but it can take place in the next year.” So I make sure to put rules so that I can create urgency. I also tell them that they can gift it to a friend. So obviously I want them to come in for another shoot and I paint the picture and do everything I can, but if for some reason they don't want to come back, they can gift it to a friend.
